🕵️‍♂️ | US-Israel/Iran | Full Scale War Still Seems Imminent as Deterrence Erodes & Brinkmanship Intensifies | REPORTS

US President Donald Trump has threatened to "bomb" the Sultanate of Oman if it obstructs US objectives or "gets in the way" of an agreement concerning the Strait of Hormuz. This aggressive statement was reported by Fox News journalist Trey Yingst, to whom Trump said, "If Oman gets in our way, we're going to bomb their face."

Trump's threats coincide with the expiration of a 60-day Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously concluded between Washington and Tehran, which failed to establish a permanent ceasefire.

"UKMTO has received a report of an incident in the Strait of Hormuz. The Company Security Officer has reported that the vessel was struck by an unknown projectile while conducting an outbound transit of the Strait of Hormuz. The impact caused damage to the engine room and resulted in a crew casualty. The remaining crew are currently being assisted by the Omani Coast Guard.

President Donald Trump said no U.S. and Iran talks are planned and that the U.S. blockade remains in force. Iran said the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until the blockade, oil sanctions and military operations end and frozen assets are released. Regional officials said Washington objects to reported provisions for joint Iran and Oman management of the outbound route and voluntary security and environmental fees. No agreement has been published.

The Israeli Air and Space Force’s 190th “Magic Touch” Squadron occurred this afternoon, as all of its AH-64AI Peten attack helicopters were relocated from Ramon Air Base in the Negev Desert to Ramat David Air Base in northern Israel. The relocation brings the squadron and its attack helicopters permanently much closer to Israel’s northern battlefront and the threat posed by Hezbollah.
The 190th Squadron’s AH-64AI Petens will now operate directly from northern Israel, placing them closer to the potential battlefront and reducing the time required to respond to threats.
IDF statements confirm the move as pre-planned to improve northern response times against drones, missiles, and ground forces based on lessons from recent conflicts, diversifying basing away from a single southern location.
Attached videos show groups of Apache helicopters flying in formation across cloudy skies over urban and tree-lined areas, consistent with public footage of the squadron's northward transit observed on August 18, 2026.

Trump says no talks planned with Iran amid anger over Iran-Oman Hormuz deal

The comments represent Trump’s latest about-face. On Monday, he had claimed that the US was engaged in back-channel conversations with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Tehran was quick to reject that claim.

Tuesday’s remarks appear to reflect Trump’s frustration, as Iran and Oman, countries that border Hormuz, continue talks on managing the strait, despite the US president’s demand for Iran to surrender and his threat to bomb Oman should it interfere in the issue.

Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Ali Abdollahi warned Persian Gulf states against assisting U.S. military operations against Iran, saying Tehran is monitoring U.S. aircraft and refueling activity at regional bases and would regard such assistance as participation in U.S. operations.
