Much to my suprise this CF has held in Lebanon.

Looks like a CF soon coming to Gaza. Middle East looks to be finally be simmering down.

First publication: In an attack attributed to Israel early in the morning, in the Bekaa, deep in Lebanon, significant weapons of Hezbollah - which is trying to rehabilitate itself, were destroyed, a month into the ceasefire. The assessment: It is about weapons smuggled out of Syria, in the shadow of the overthrow of the Assad regime. Censorship does not allow publishing what was attacked.

-Lebanon is obligated, under the ceasefire terms and its obligations under international law, to deal with these threats. Lebanon refuses to.

-Expect this to be the dynamic moving forward -- unless the oversight committee is used as a pressure mechanism to restrain Israeli freedom of action against Hezbollah. Lebanon will not act against Hezbollah in any way, and anyone who has said or relied on some obscure anecdote to suggest otherwise is intellectually and factually dishonest..

There's a real possibility that the northern front between Israel and Hezbollah opens up again.

Today, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem threatened to break the ceasefire agreement.

On Thursday, Israel conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah rocket launching positions.

Reports indicate the IDF could stay in southern Lebanon for a month longer than agreed upon during negotiations.

Despite losing the majority of their leadership and rocket/missile supply, Hezbollah still has significant capabilities to target Israeli cities.
