I have to say I am glad I hit the road when I did to our fall back shelter. I hear my city and the city next to my peace-time homestead (Millwaukee/Waukesha/WI) reporting a lot of violence and repeated attempts of theft by any means or customers fighting others over what if anything is left.

When the lock-down happens nationwide & the realization that there isn't enough truck drivers in the US right now to keep the stores stocked at current panic buying rate shit will hit the fan and it will quick because Americans are really ignorant now a days. NOT EVEN mentioning the millions of people out of a job that will also need things, at minimum crime is going to skyrocket to the moon at a 20-25% unemployment rate.

Will be sad, we may see US national guard/military shooting at US civilians in conflict because armed riots or armed looting rampages. Read a article that the sales of guns went up 250 percent. I mean Europe can't really revolt to what the government is doing to them because they don't have the weapons or pure ignorance like most Americans have.

Just think about it for a second. Not to mention the total and complete miss-management of the containment of this Virus since it started...........if you have not yet launched your SHTF plan yet, you should now. ESPECIALLY if you are in a major city or in the regional area of a major city.

EDIT: Let's face it America has rioted many times for a lot less than current crisis. I would expect the ghettos in cities to be the first to riot IMO if current circumstances play out in the near future.

It’s not unexpected, It just isn’t.
The economic loss and the subsequent real pain this will cause people will over shadow the death in the long run.

That sounds crass but economic loss is real especially when your not talking about the loss of decimal point or two of a wealthy persons net worth. But of people working 40 hrs and making mortgage payments and wondering how to pay bills already.
We’ve printed decimal points worth of money repeatedly to rescue banks and industries.
If ever their was a time to do now is.

There will be a cost to it though and I hope we can bare it.

I just don't have faith in ordinary Americans. Even more so for the inner city to keep calm and carry on through shortages, shutdowns, MASSIVE loss of jobs mainly your average Joe jobs. The Police Forces, National Guard, and US Military have a difficulty job coming up keeping order in America. We can not count on critical decisive action from politicians low & high in the government, they have 100% dropped the ball on this all actions already and being taken are way to late to the game.

Of the 147 new cases, 69 are in Daegu and 40 are in North Gyeongsang, the KCDC said. The total number of confirmed cases in Daegu and North Gyeongsang, the two epicenters of the virus outbreak here, stood at 6,344 and 1,243, respectively.
