Unless he's being used as a patsy by the MAGA cabal (whether consciously or not) - which would be my assessment.

Anyway, if he keeps on smashing china like that, he's going to get his ass regulated. Not in the US, but quite possibly in the EU. There are already angry rumblings coming out of Brussels. If they put their money where their mouth is, expect Musk to do something stupid in response - perhaps even pull the plug on Europe. And that, perhaps, could be the collapse of Twitter. But we're still a long way from that point.

I think it's hilarious how the left is melting down because they got a taste of their own medicine. I didn't see them whining like this when a sitting president got his account revoked also the scores of conservative journalists right before a national election. :ROFLMAO:
 
I don’t necessarily have an issue with elons suspension of people. It’s a private platform and he’s free to enforce the rules of said platform - I’ve said this many times even before Elon.

It’s how he’s arbitrarily changing the rules of arguably the biggest platform for free access of information JUST because it effects him personally. He’s contradicted himself time and time again, and proved he didn’t care about some things until it backfired.

I couldn’t care less about the politics or the left/right of it - the implications it has for OSINT (and this website) are immense, and it’s just because he can’t figure out how to run his platform

Very true.
However, I can only imagine the problems faced by any individual who’s taken over such in immense ”corporation”.
Immense in both size and influence. He’ll figure it out. Will he get it right? That remains to be seen.
 
The irony is everyone so concerned with this travesty of censorship. Journalist being censored. Yet not a peep when an entire national news paper was banned for reporting on another story or too.
So love him or hate him it’s still a non-story as far as censorship goes.
