The television and radio building in Isfahan, Iran, has been set on fire. Locals told the BBC that "the city center is effectively under the control of the protesters."
As protests intensify across Iran, all Telegram channels in the country have gone silent for over an hour, while local apps, websites, and online services remain completely offline, cutting citizens off from communication and information.
If events occur that lead to the destabilization or collapse of the Iranian regime (similar to what happened in Syria prior to its collapse), we will close this thread and start a new one focused on the rapidly evolving and deteriorating situation across Iran.
Friendly reminder we have two Iran threads. One is military related (Israel and the U.S.). The other is this one geopolitical, focused on riots/protests. Please keep that in mind when posting about Iran.
As always, thank you for keeping the forums orderly during these tumultuous times, and if you ever have any questions about the flow/organization of the forums please do not hesitate to ask me.
Flight data for Iran on Flightradar24 has been heavily restricted due to nationwide internet censorship, with tracking now relying mostly on limited satellite signals.
