Pro-monarchy slogans were spray-painted on street-blocking barriers in Shiraz, Fars province in southern Iran, according to a video sent to Iran International.
The footage shows concrete blocks placed across a street bearing slogans including “Death to Khamenei,” “Pahlavi will return,” and “Long live the Shah (King).”

Haqiqat previously headed the city’s intelligence unit and was responsible for brutal crackdowns on anti-regime Baluch protesters.

At least 36 people killed during Iran protests, rights group says

At least 36 people have been killed during the last 10 days of protests across Iran, a human rights group has said. The foreign-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported that 34 of those confirmed killed were protesters and two were affiliated with security forces.

HRANA also said that more than 60 protesters had been injured and 2,076 arrested during the unrest, which was sparked by an economic crisis and has spread to 27 of 31 provinces.
 
The French daily Le Figaro reported that senior Iranian officials have sought French visas for their families in recent days.“Since 24 hours ago, high-ranking dignitaries from the reformist clan – including the president of the Islamic Assembly – have been attempting to obtain French visas for their families via a Parisian lawyer” Iranian-French journalist Emmanuel Razavi said on Le Figaro’s Points de Vue program.
