As they are an entire country or at least most of it in their Civil War that makes them a nation not a proxy so properly they would be an ally of Iran. Maybe a minor partner but still a nation so ally. I didn’t think it fit with Iran’s proxies such as a mass or has which are just from militia’s

CNN, citing sources: Trump's announcement of a truce with the Houthis came after a series of diplomatic moves mediated by the Sultanate of Oman.
So which is it? Western media echoing off old news? Houthis just said no there is no ceasefire. So... the hell going on?
CNN: Oman mediated between the Houthis and the US and achieved a ceasefire between the sides. The understanding is that neither side attacks the other and this is intended to support the nuclear talks between the US and Iran.
