Russia: Forces in Kaliningrad simulate nuclear attack

As part of an exercise, around a hundred soldiers simulated the “electronic launch” of mobile Iskander-type ballistic missile systems with nuclear weapons, the Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

Putin ally threatens to nuke ☢️ Britain into extinction in Third World War and warns Nato is ‘playing with fire’

Kaliningrad is called to be an unsinkable aircraft carrier for a reason.
It' has aircraft, airdefense, UAVs, tanks, artillery and soldiers.
Mobile land based ISKANDER-M launchers and nuclear armed silos.

Russia won't do anything.
Russia can't do anything.

They won't do anything militarily because its suicidal. They can't do it because by every definition there is no blockade as Kaliningrad can still freely move things in and out of its territory via sea and air without any interference or checkpoints.

Therefore russia cannot respond militarily as there is no military or military provocation to respond against because Lithuania is doing sanctions enforcement which is NOT really a military matter but a government matter.

Its just a ploy for Russia to get attention crying to the world over a war THEY started to zero fault but their own through making irresponsible, reckless, egotistical, bullshit claims they been flying at the wall to see what sticks since the begging of this war.

To speak in reality the absolute worst case scenario here is Russia cuts more gas to Europe. That is the worst case. Nothing more. Some military drills if they don't cut gas would be the least sever response.

Sin embargo, estáis muy lejos de lo que está pasando aquí, como EEUU. Además, es cierto lo que dices, pero no se ajusta mucho a Ucrania: podría ser cierto para Ucrania Occidental.
I mean that you formulate your opinions, although they are logical, you do not consider the feelings of the Ukrainians and even more so of those who are sacrificing their lives for their country or what they are willing to do, if they have made the decision of such a sacrifice, They must be supported by everyone in their country and even more so by the political class and it would be wrong for politicians to try to save face or their personal well-being by betraying all those who gave their lives and those who are willing to give their lives for their country .

and NATO aggressiveness.
Look no one wanted war let us not wander from the fact Russia is the aggressor here, full stop.
Warsaw nations sought to join nato and be apart of Europe’s orbit for a reason. Even Georgia is seeking to move into Europe’s orbit.
It is because of one thing Russia is behaving as a imperialist nation trying to regain the glory’s of IT’s own dreams of imperialism. It’s own colonial dreams.

No one wants war no one wants nations destroyed.
But here we are there is a war. One can either live with it and hope for policies that bring it to a quick and acceptable conclusion or you can capitulate to naked aggression.
NATO is not doing enough, it was enough to stop Russian advances but it will not be enough to dissuade Russia from there wrong headed decision to invade a sovereign nation.
So nato will either escalate to end the war or they won’t.
But making apologies for their aggression won’t result in an end that does any justice to Ukraine’s willingness to fight for their national freedom.
It was you in feb who was saying the Ukrainian army would fail quickly and the Ukrainian people would care not if it was the current gov in Kiev or a Russian installed gov in Kiev who was in charge.

Kaliningrad seceding from the russian federation because they have to import steel and color tv sets by ferry as opposed to rail?, all the while still being able to receive unsanctioned items by rail still? I doubt this outcome. They are starting negotiations now, who knows how that will go. I wonder if the russians have enough in kaliningrad already to bridge the gap. such a task would be a lot quicker than invading Ukraine, you have to realize how small and poorly defended this area is compared to say the donbass. however who knows if they would be willing to test nato in this way, I will note that the governor of kaliningrad has been speaking fairly softly on the issue, and the only reciprocal measures he mentions are economic, very different from federation council "all means" I will say that the governor of an oblast has a lot less say in military issues than someone higher up, and he likely doesn't want war on his footstep despite the fact that he hasnt much say in the matter. we will see if any specific repercussions are mentioned by high up talking heads in the russian fed in the coming days and hours, and what the EU says.
Let me remind you few things.
Economic situation in this part of Ruusia is bad.Solders have families. Russia need to supply many goods which will be imprtans starting with vodka.
Russia tranfered part of equipment of even maybe part of troops from Kalingrad to Ukraine.
Any military action means in few hours anihilation of Baltic navy. Russia batteries s400 and Iskandef will be anihilated in few hours( in case of
Military action by Ruusia)

I have very serious doubts if Belarus soldiers are ready for attack againt Nato.Russia VDV units are annihilated.

However, you are very far from what is happening here, like the US. Furthermore, it's true what you say, but it doesn't fit very much on Ukraine: it could be true for West-Ukraine.

In fact, I don't think that Russia is going to attack: I never said that, and, on the contrary, I have said that Russia is not going to attack. The very likely retaliation could be, besides what you said, the total power cut from Russia.
About what you said regarding the Soviet blokade of Berlin, it's true that it was a proper blockade, but it's not true that we could minimaze the current situation as an "half-measure", because, if we use this meter for the Soviet blockade, it was an half-measure too: we made an airlift and Soviets didn't shoot down the aircrafts. If it were a true, strong blockade, the aircrafts would have been hit.

So, I ask you: what about if Russia will force the blockade with an airlift (that could be much more then possible)? What will we do? Should we shoot-down the aircrafts? As you can see, the answer is not so evident: so we can't really say if that situation is better or worser compared to the Soviet blockade. In summary, Russia is not going to attack, but it could force the blockade with an airlift and if we shoot-down the aircrafts - which is at least 50% possible - it means war. So we don't really are so far from a war, and if you think very well about what is going on, we are simply betting on the fact that Russia will not have enough bravery to try an airlift, all of that, on the misleading base of thinking that Russia is far less powerfull than it really is. In short words, we are gambling upping the ante each time in a game in which we take for granted that we are the dialer: that is exactly what happens each time a war begin.
Lithuania has connection to polish power grid....
Off topic properly execued disconnection losd(e.g lithuenia) migh trip Russia/Belarus power plant

NATO, obviously, doen't have to apologise. It will be enough to simply avoid to make stupid things, as to block Kalingrad, that is not what I could say: "policies that bring it to a quick and acceptable conclusion", unless a bigger war is actually an acceptable conclusion.

To say that "the aggressor here, full stop.", is the usuall and very semplicistic rethoric. And we MUST stop this semplicistic rethoric, because, if we don't, we will never find compromises.

In February I have said something different. obviously I didn't have the crystal ball: for what I knew, it was possible a sudden Russian victory due to a fast capitolation of the Ukranian military, as it happened with German blitzkrieg in France during the WWII. For sure, I coudn't say in what time: one month? 2? Maybe 2 weeks for a sudden capitolation due the the panic to be invaded from many direction? But who has never spoke about "3 days"? Ok, Ukraine doesn't have capitolated in 2 weeks for the panic: it's a fact. But Nazi blitzkrieg in France took almost 2 months, not 2 days! And it's a textbook example of "blitzkrieg. Nazi Polish campaign took more than a month. Blitzkriegs don't last "days", but months! Russian operation in Ukraine it's started almost 4 month ago. Sure, if your order of magnitude are the "days"... so, why not the hours? At the day 1, you could have said: "Russia has not beaten Ukraine in 3 hours: they are losing!"
I confirm what I said in Feb, but not what you say that I have said. I said that if the Ukrainian military capitolates, people will simply adapt to the new situation. And it's like that: where the military has been beaten, as in Mariupol for example, do you see something different? The only "resistence" is from the military, and Ukrainian military is going to capitolate on all the fronts, sooner or later. As soon as the Donbass front, that is heavily fortified, will be definitively passed, it's likely that the capitolation will be very fast on all the Country. This will happen not in 3 days, not in 2 month, not in 4 mounth, maybe in 6, maybe in 8, maybe not... but let's leave enough time to the time, and you will see the end.

At it again negating a response as simplistic. Then changing the prediction and you yourself making overly simplistic predictions.
As far as larger war that still rest with Russia they can withdraw or be responsible.
Apologize for what, offering a more desirable option than Russian imperialism.
Of just at being better at countering and shrinking Russia’s influence in Europe.
When will Russia apologizes for making a massive failure of Ukrainians reaction to a Russian invasion actually believing they would be welcomed. And when that was not forthcoming they proceeded to pound away and compound the suffering because of Russian pride and delusional detachment of reality in Ukraine.
It probably will be a greater war and I’m still waiting for Russia to compromise with regard to their invasion of an independent nation.
Is that simplistic yeah, but that I. No way makes it any less accurate.
