Monkeypox | 2022

We do not know that is what is happening in this current outbreak. We don't know what this strain is about.
We can use our free human minds to continue to assess the information.
Not simply ignore other facts and only listen to the political/corporate elite media "experts" - who are NEVER held accountable when they are wrong.
Strongly recommend not to make assumptions one way or the other.
Watching the endless stories in January 2020, by "experts" convinced that COVID19 was transmitted via food, and that there was no way there was human-human transmission (while ironically once again world debate was on Ukraine issues), should have taught us to watch the evidence and have open minds, not believe the first thing that "the experts" tell us, until we know all of the facts.
The jokesters and dismissers of today are eeriely familiar.
Well we are and this looks a lot more like the great Ebola epidemic that escaped Africa. Rather than Covid. Followed both closely with my free open mind.
So until something changes as far as transmission it’s not a pandemic

143 rapid (known/reported) cases in 11 countries are not suggestive of an STI transmission. We should watch for more information.

Security assessment does not need to start with "Yawn."
We do not know if this is the same strain of a year ago., which most of us also knew about.
We can get the facts first and know more about this.
The rapid spread of this reported now in 11 countries would suggest more than a STI.
But let's get the facts first. Getting the facts are not panicking. Dismissing the facts is not security.
I also recall people in January 2020 having a good laugh about nCov-2019. I found it very disappointing to see so many of them from the NatSec community. Let's keeping following the facts, without the "Yawn," or "Haha" when we are concerned about security. Like everyone, of course, I also hope this turns out to be a very limited impact.

Telegraph: World Health Organization convenes emergency meeting as UK cases 'double'

WHO says historical strains had case fatalities between 0-11%.

United Press International (founded 1907) reported in 2002 that Russian biowarfare experts are known to have worked specifically with the Monkeypox virus in the Soviet Union's biological weapons program, and scientists and former United Nations weapons inspectors were concerned (at that time) that a weaponized form of Monkeypox could be used against the United States:

20 years later in 2021, NTI in partnership with the Munich Security Conference conducted a response exercise for a modified Monkeypox virus engineered to be more transmissible and resistant to vaccines:

Hopefully this fizzles out, just saying I wouldn't underestimate/yawn over it..

Well, here we go with the talk of vaccine. I'm so glad that I didn't take that covid jab. Why??? Because every single person that I know or knew that took the jab, is now either dead or severely compromised. Now, to clarify, that age factor has been from 45 and up. What were the symptoms or causes of death?? Blood clots--symptoms you might as well call Covid dementia,--- actually catching the virus after the jab, and having viral pneumonia, which killed almost all of them. There's only one person that I personally know, he was veteran Marine, I told him he shouldn't take it,, but he did and now, his lungs are so damaged, he's constantly on O2, lost his business, was in a coma for well over a month and almost died. He was the youngest that I stated--meaning 45. And, the next question---how many like that,, that I personally knew?? the number was 53. Most of them were retired FD and the shot was given free. The average age was 58- to 65. In my opinion,, those are overwhelming numbers, and almost all of them were healthy beforehand. There were 3 that had medical issues.

Don't get caught in the monkey pox trap.

I understand alert fatigue. But while you might want to downplay, the U.S. BARDA just placed a $119M [+$180M] order for 13 million doses of Monkeypox vaccine.

Circumspection is just wise.
Spread to 13 countries in 2 weeks with 30 percent increase in 24 hours is something that people concerned about security should pay attention to. It is not a panic, not a yawn, not any of the extreme reactions/denial. Facts are facts. Pretty aggressive to have an disease (being attributed to an STI) spread from Australia - to Israel - to Canada in such a short time.

Currently proven and suspected in 1. Australia, 2. Belgium, 3. Canada, 4. France, 5. Germany, 6. Israel, 7. Italy, 8. Netherlands, 9. Portugal, 10. Spain, 11. Sweden, 12. UK, 13. USA. All wealthy nations with advanced public health infrastructure to detect/test for this.

TCharley300 - Very sorry to hear about the loss of your friends and acquaintances. It has been horrible. FYI - I have had the exact opposite experience. My cousin's son, 51, also a veteran did nothing and died from pneumonia. Everyone I know who died did not have a vaccine. But also everyone I know who died was over 50, so there may be health complications we did not know about. The body, like anything, wears down and is impacted by time and life.

That said, I also don't know the USA anymore. A few years ago, if someone were to tell me what I think would happen after over 1 million Americans were officially reported dead from a pandemic, I would expect there would be calls for changes, and at least some mourning (beyond a flag lowered). Now we have 1 million dead Americans, and it is shrug, who cares, change the TV channel, and pass the popcorn. I honestly don't want to live in a country like that. I honestly don't want to have and cannot trust government representatives, national security, or intelligence agencies more vested in debating over "smelly Walmart people," than working to protect and find answers to 1 million dead Americans. I am clearly from the wrong country and the wrong century. But this is not the United States of America that so many of us, our families, our loved ones gave their lives to protect and defend. I don't what this version of USA is today, but whatever it is, it is certainly not "America." Sorry for the soapbox. Back to the regular NatSec acceptable losses channel.

Just saying but (UK based) I've had 3 doses and so do most of my family/acquaintances. Most people i know have had covid and recovered, 2 caught covid pre vaccines and had long covid (females in 30s/40s).

These Antivaxxers.... many of them have died because of their believe in natural immunity.
They must have thought they was the chosen ones...
Living with a destroyed lung or a scarred face is not what I would call quality of life.
The vaccines are not half as bad, and even if they cost a life, the Corona Virus has taken 6.3 million lives by now.
1.028 million in the U.S. alone and that is quite a lot for a first world country,
a more serious disease would take so much more, that this pandemic seems like an exercise to you!

My experience with COVID19, I am 56 years old, in March 2020, I got COVID, symptoms of fever for almost a week and chills, two weeks later infection in the lungs, 2 treatments of 7 days with antibiotics. positive antibody test, until the month of October that negative antibody test.
March 2021, fever and mild headache for three days, positive antibody test.
First dose Astrazeneca June 2021
Second dose Astra Zeneca October 2021
December 2021 fever and very mild headache
Positive antibody test.
Third dose of Astrazeneca January 2022.

Monkeypox continues to spread

  • Haha
Reactions: Torch
I think we are dealing with a new strain of the Monkeypox virus, it is an autoimmune blistering disease.
So it can be spread through touching directly, or indirectly, someone who is infected as well as the coughs or sneezes of a person with the monkeypox rash.
The virus can be spread by rodents, blood, sweat and the air.
This is very contagious, anyone that is infected has to be isolated!
It could spread through touched surfaces, like door knobs or in confined spaces such as airplanes or pubs.

I have run Monkeypox through the simulation on the highest difficulty and without any mutation in 3 years it has infected 2 billion people and has killed 80 milllion of them, it did not end the world but that's still much worse than the Corona Virus.

But in reality just like the Corona Virus the Monkeypox virus will mutate and become more contagious!

And so the real future could be quiet grim.

greater than 88 years

This is the cause of the public distrust and differing stories
Smallpox vaccination can protect you from smallpox for about 3 to 5 years. After that time, its ability to protect you decreases

Don’t forget speaker of the house encouraging people to come to San Fran in March of 2020. There’s no danger no worries. Come on out and have a good time. Trumps an alarmist blah blah
Then within a month is was perfectly acceptable to lockdown whole cities and states. But racist when it was suggested that we need to put a hold on travel from China.

If your interested in something more than just news reporting to sell advertising and get clicks

White paper from NIH on monkeypox
Two varieties east and west, no reported sequencing done yet on this years outbreak. Outbreaks in several African nations no infected individuals had ever received a SP vaccine.

All I am hearing is that this is the West Africa version of Monkeypox.
But we will know more next week. The rapid spread to 13 countries may be accounted for several different things: (a) increased awareness and checking, (b) improved data collection on it, etc. Hopefully someone in some country (likely Spain?) is sequencing the current outbreak. Little known in the West that Spain health science have really talented and dedicated virus sequencing facilities. If so, then there should be something learned on a scientific level, not a social media advocacy level. If there is another significant spread next week, and there is sequencing on current outbreak, we should have better awareness of issue.

Like of lot individuals concerned with security preparedness, the knowledge of long history of USSR/USA bioweapon research and then later CCP echoing such bioweapon research (which people of conscience could consider bioterrorism), and development of chimera-style diseases always remain a concern. We know that adults with advanced educations, supposed rational, supposedly considered responsible, spent many decades trying to develop diseases to wipe out humankind, and were/are highly paid by capitalist/communist/socialist systems for such anti-human work. There was/are not consequences for such anti-human behavior, and some move on to be considered "experts" on topics. So we need to double-check unusual outbreaks, even if on the surface they appear to be "nothing."
