Nato Members May Send Troops To Ukraine, Warns Former Alliance Chief

I do not believe Poland will go in. The former NATO secretary general has his own motivations for making that statement. Chief of which may be to shore up US support Ukraine.

However, in the unlikely scenario Poland went in, the risk of nuclear escalation increases dramatically. It would be a very very concerning development.

Yes I would likly pre-evacuate, sail out into the middle of nowhere in the gulf, or relocate/anchor somewhere off a part of the US coast where there isn't a single soul for as far as the eye can see.

Get out of this death trap called Florida and as far away from targets or threats from a lawless society/chaos.
 
We all agree and know if even 1 nuke goes off (EDIT: in a war not a test) it will cause crippling and dangerous panic among The Western citizens on a large scale...

But I wonder if there will be mass panic in The West if:
1.) Poland Enters Ukraine
OR
2.) Poland Gets Attacked Conventionally.

Thoughts?

I genuinely think almost 70% of the US population isn’t even up to date on the war let alone knowing if Poland would step foot into the war. I also know that if anything were to happen, civilians can barely hold it together when the economy gets shakey, let alone a war that could lead to WW3. This is the biggest reason why I don’t visit big cities, I just don’t trust folks to know what to do in heavy situations. People panic 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think it all depends on how the media handles such news. The director is absolutely right, people are sheep. it all depends on how theyre led

Well it would be independent on if Poland is attacked because they entered Ukraine.

The US is committing too Poland militarly pretty aggressively. Polands not going in alone. Their getting significant commitments I believe.

85% would not even know what the ramifications are if Poland entered Ukraine.
30% probably don’t even know poland is in nato.

75% probably couldn't locate Poland on a map, let alone understand what the ramifications are if Poland goes rogue and attacks Russia. I don't see this happening until the US gives the green light.

Your probably more right than you know. Strongly agree.

As derogatory as this may seem to our Euro friends here... NATO members don't have much of a say when it comes to military ventures. Mostly because they are incapable of taking military action by themselves without support from other nations particularly the US and other nation's in the alliance.

Most NATO members on their own individually simply can't fight. Their militaries have become to integrated and dependent on one another making it impossible for a NATO member to act alone.

But that is the reason for NATO. Because having massive standing armies for every single nation under NATO is simply impractical and a waste of resources. We all work together to make defense a collective issue and therefore cheaper, easier, and better for everyone. Win win all around.
