The minister emphasized that Moscow does not have a 100% proof of this information, but the evidence was multiplying and the West was starting to realize that they are going a little bit further than they intended.

Yes that’s the semtiment in Russia among the pro-war.

Speaking about peace talks or a cease fire.
They will only talk when the west tells Zelensky to do it.
And Putin of course won’t be the first talking.

We just need to move in with a peace force, occupy Ukraine as to move them under a security umbrella of sorts and put up a DMZ along Ukraine-Russia border like the Korea's where international troops and observers can keep the peace at the demarcation line where ever that may end up being.

Might work on the border with Belarus as Zelensky’s requesting it as well, but I doubt Pooty would respond peacefully to a DMZ being set up in the ‘annexed’ territories.

If Putin is willing to settle now then new lines must be drawn. Where ever those lines are is where the DMZ will be set up and peacekeeper forces will pour in to the West of it ensuring Ukraine sovereignty and make sure it doesn't happen again.

And then of course, that escalation could lead to even further global nuclear escalation with Russia arming USA enemies.
There is a time to find an armistice and everyone stop the fighting, before it gets out of hand.
Nuclear blackmail has been going on for over 60 years. It didn't start in 2022.
We need to keep working to build a strategy of peace.

You know set it up exactly how the Korean DMZ is. The west controls one half and the other half Russia controls the chunks it stole. In the middle will be a heavily fortified line of multiple nations to ensure both sides don't start going at it again.

Or just make another iron curtain like Germany had and bring Ukraine into western security umbrella to prevent Russia from ever trying it again.
