Not very convincing and from a “independent” journalist who only reports from one side of a conflict area.
Look I’ll say it again, no i don’t believe the boarder violations only go one way. But when your premise is to only paint it as such yourself it just doesnt work for me.
I followed the white helmets of Syria and their selective staged journalism and I’m just not a believer.

Kinda long read and don’t disagree with it completely, but some I do.
So who are the Russian soldiers on the boarder there for?
Are they fighting for Russia? Do you honestly believe Ukraine is going to invade Russia. If you do, well...... that’s just laughable
Or are we just going to redraw some more international boarders and call it self defense?
No, not Russia. Ukraine doesn't need to invade Russia. It also can invade DPR/LPR, but that will obviously result in retaliation and everyone knows this. However, if your goal is to inflict sanctions and unite Europe in this goal, redo the gas market in Europe and claim it for yourself, ban Nordstream and get tons of money by selling weapons to Europe and to Ukraine (in form of credits), you might want to provoke a limited military action from Russia.

As I suggested in my previous post, Ukraine does not expect a large scale operation from Russia, they stated so many times. I share the same view, Russia would not go for it because this will completely ruin diplomacy with Europe (doesn't care for US), while limited actions might look more "acceptable" in view of some European countries and some other countries who are more or less neutral. Time will show I guess.

P.S. The security council ended with no resolution. Putin stated that the decision will be made. He added "today", but that sounded like the beginning of the next sentence "Today I want to thank you", so I dunno what he was saying. I believe he is going to have some calls with some world leaders after to finalize his decision and announce it after.

So am I. Let me state it: I do not believe russia is all good and white, nor do I believe that it is impossible for Russia to stage a shelling and so on. I only argue with a position where an opponent clearly refute just a possibility of an event having a different explanation. I am trying to have multiple points of view on events and I urge other people to at least try and do so.

P.S. the civilian death was reported by multiple sources, not just this journalist. I gave you just this one because its on English and on Youtube.

I 100% agree with you. It's Russia: they have a major stake in the situation, if they somehow let Ukraine join nato they have nato on their doorstep just like we had Russia on ours. I personally want America to do something because I'm not going to lie and say that I value what we are doing, I just can't move assets that quick, and without receiving capital gains tax.

I believe Russia has a right just like any other country to do something, but I feel like once again..both sides will provide propaganda to make them seem like the side to choose, but in the end it's about what history has shown us: Cuban missile crisis, what we said when Russia was going to come back to Cuba/South America...

To be honest, since many people here aren't going to be 100% true to themselves..I think in the end we don't matter one bit in the grand scheme of things. The rich will always find a way to survive and god believes me when I say: They'll always outlive someone in the middle class, especially with what's offered on the public markets today. Learn how to play the game instead of working the 9-5 and letting other people constantly play you, that little 20-30 an hour doesn't mean shit when it comes to your freedom as an individual or ability to progress yourself.

Back to the topic: I believe that Russia will make their cause just to their people just as we have with the last few wars we've been in, To other countries, it might look bad..maybe not. In the end it's what the ruling class wants in ANKUS/UKRANE/RUS/WorldStage.

I'm just saying it flat out anyone in here who subjugates themselves to the fact that anyone cares about them besides (immediate) family is lying to themselves. I've saw it and I do it on a daily basis: money and honor is the only thing that will get anyone to do something: I mix arms with a few of your favorite people (likely), and they do favors for me and I do the same for them: we all want the same thing...security and money so we don't have to work a bad job. You do something for me and I got a little something for you in the future, else it makes me look bad.

Most of your people nowadays don't understand how much money really means in this world or what it can do, it brings you more time to do what you want and allows you to make life around you easier with "lobbying". Life is a simple game of can you throw the cash to make it go your way...and can you save the money and use it in the right way (when you are starting). When you start life if you aren't privileged to be born into a wealthy ass family it takes a lot longer to get the intrinsics. the older you get the more you understand the intrinsics. You can still die yes, but you have a lot more time to get stuff done once you garner the money you need to start making plays on a local/state stage. If you go to a federal/national level it's a lot harder and you need partners because it costs a lot more money. The only reason why we do this shit is for money, trust me...the only reason why we fight these wars and send the kids out who don't want to pay for college and the people who desire to join for benefits is that they are pawns in a global affair like Kissinger said. I have nothing but respect for each of the world's militaries, especially the American military that protects me and my assets.

I believe that the military members get the shit end of the stick when it comes to a symbiotic relationship because they don't get anything...I get protection for my assets and security that my stuff isn't going to be bombed or taken over by a foreign nation. Meanwhile, my money only offers them the GI bill, college...and a little bit of training on a skill. I wish they received more, but that's not what the people want. I hate to break it to you guys and I value each person in this forum as this is a great place for information, but...the elite don't have the time to think about us, it's about the money they can make and protect the immediate people around them...but can you blame them?

Russia wants what we want, the same for any other nation: Prosperity and Ease of life. People want what every other person wants: security, lack of fear..and freedom from being told what to do to the point they aren't individuals anymore. Nobody will do shit unless they get something they want.

I value the people in the intel community because they are mostly great people that want the same thing as most of us, but they get paid a fucking boat load..now that's where you want to be. The only problem with that is you can't hold any foreign assets and need to keep a clean background, but that's really it...everyone is in it for themselves at the end of the day. From people to nations.

I personally dislike the way the world is setup currently with money being the ruling factor, but we need to put our value into something. I believe America is a great country and the best that I personally know. I just believe that people get shit confused out here with what we are all being told. Think of America/Rus/Chi as this...you hire a motivational speaker to hype you up to go do something, and you do it? The whole reason to get you scared and hyped up is to get you to go fight these battles/do this shit they need you to do so someone above you can profit...because you are inspired. Look at 9/11 and bush. We were able to get the cleanup done at a rapid pace because of a motivational speech due to a bad bad situation.

Yeah

Why’s Russia suddenly claiming Ukraine can nuke them and they have more capability than NK

That’s quite something
Recently someone from Ukraine popped off a d said that if their boarder is not going to be respected then the Bucharest agreement was null. Part of that was giving up their nukes. That’s where this is coming from.

If it's confirmed, could Russia consider it as an act of war? ( so that they are at state of war with Ukraine? )
It can, but won't be just enough. Plus we need at least some video materials to investigate if they are fake or not. Right now there is zero evidence or zero fabricated evidence, depending on what your stance is.

They’ve been at a state of war with Ukraine for years

Expecting a decision from Putin today on recognising the independence of Donbas and I think Luhansk

Unless i'm wrong, Russia isn't at state of war with Ukraine, "just" Donesk and lugansk is.

If this is confirmed, it's the first time ( i guess ) there is a direct fight between Ukrainian and Russian army

This is as stupid or stupider that the US constantly saying Russia’s going to attack day after tomorrow.

This is the level of rhetoric coming out of both sides.
Then there is the one sided rhetoric on social media.....
Democratic anti-war pacifist are condemning conservatives for not wanting another war and if there if there is a war it’s all orange mans fault.

We’re all fucked their all bound and determined to kill somebody-everybody on the “other side”

No one will win from a war but just the usual: reach fcks, market speculators, weapon traders and so on. The usual kind.

If Russia announces that they recognise the breakaway states , what does this mean ? Can someone explain as much as possible

1. Russia as a side of Minsk agreements will effectively render them invalid https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minsk_Protocol
2. Russia will gain legal grounds (strictly from the Russian perspective) for aiding them, including military.
3. DPR and LPR will gain a status of partitially recognized countries (they are now unrecognized).

Overall this will mean that all diplomatic attempts failed and another agreement should be reached.
