By morning, additional details had surfaced from Russian sources. It now appears that a Russian military jet—rather than a helicopter—was downed by an unmanned vessel approximately 50 kilometers off the coast in the Black Sea.If confirmed, this would mark the first instance in recorded history of a military aircraft being brought down by an unmanned maritime platform.
