AI-2 med kits do have Pralidoxime Chloride and an atropine auto-injector in them just like how American soldiers are issued a NAAK in their first aid kit.
Proof? Source? Please post source or link when you make a statment stating "apparent facts"...

I am going to start asking people for this in discussions. For everyone. Yes so @rudemarine when you make your claims can you please post sources? If you cannot then label it as opinion or anylisis.

Want to make clear I am not targeting anyone specific. Just a lot of members make a lot of claims with nothing to back it up. Used rudemarine as a example since he is popular around here & nothing else.

He said she said or I heard online from freinds or propaganda (from the west or east) is not acceptable factual information.

About Shoigu, if before it was just an internet rumor. Now with even Zelensky making a joke, what would the reality be?

Before he disappeared, there was a rumor that he was trying to organize a coup d'etat. Or did he really have a heart attack because of the results of the "special operation"? Or is it Putin who is now in fact the sole strategist of this operation?

Chemical weapons don't really achive much other than a psychological effect.
When used against unprotected civilians, chemical weapons are extremely cost-effective, and since most of the civilian population of Ukraine is armed now and vowing to fight, what better way to take out an entire city defended mostly by civilians than by dousing them with sarin? It's better than door-to-door urban warfare in which the aggressor always loses more than one soldier for every one enemy combatant killed.

Now the rest is opinion. All of us have pretty well known, especially the older ones that what is occurring over there would eventually lead to what we might be seeing in the supposed near future. At the first of this crap, you never heard the word nuclear mentioned, except for once in a blue moon. Now, as tensions rise, you're hearing it every day. It's either on this site, or even lame stream media now. It's become so common lately that no one really pays it that much attention. That's a very good description of a soft disclosure. In other words, it's a matter of acceptance and doesn't have the mental or emotional impact as it would have in the earlier stages of this conflict.

Now, I'm not taking sides here at all. Both sides are acting in a bad manner. But, you're seeing the buildup to what I think will be the needed false flag to get nato in the mix. What's the false flag?? Either chemical or biological. And with it being put out there so much lately, it's just softening u p the general public to expect this to occur. And, it will occur at some point in the not so distant future. That's to be expected.

Now, here's the danger. I'm not a military strategist at all, don't claim to be either. But, for a minute or two, I'm going to put myself in Putin's shoes. Could he have been using the older equipment and young troops to just try to soften up Ukraine, figuring this venture would be a cakewalk?? Well, he got a surprise, or did he?? I don't know.

Could this first action be a pretext to what he really has in mind to accomplish? Can't say. Could he possibly be holding his big guns, newer equipment, more experienced men for phase two? I can't rule it out. Of course, on the other side of the coin, all of this so called great military machine that the bear had could possibly have been a front for a very long period of time. Granted he has nuclear, and supposedly a lot of it, but I'm keeping that out of the mix for right now.

Currently, he's been running what I'd call the old Soviet playbook on this confrontation, BUT the one thing that the bear has always been good at in the past has been the element of surprise.

Now, it appears that the bear has stepped in his own trap, supposedly putting himself into a corner with no escape. He has too much pride to back off and withdraw, tuck his tail between his legs and go home. Because when he got home and all of those young men that wouldn't be coming back home, I think you'd see a huge uprising of the people, and probably some sort of a coup attempt against Putin. His only way out, unless he withdraws, is either going to be chemical, biological or nuclear.

Biden has already stated that if chemical was used in discussion #14 on this thread, nato would get involved. Putin has stated many times that if nato got involved he'd go nuclear. So, yea, we're in a big mess--a very big mess.

The closest that I can compare this to is the Cuban missile crisis--and that's not the best comparison because at least some back door diplomacy was going on behind the scenes. I don't think there is any this time at all. So in many ways, this conflict is in my opinion more dangerous than back in 1962. Sure, there have been other times, like Able archer and a few more here and there, but it was short lived and it wasn't like the frog in the pot of ever heating water. Well, folks, this time, that pot of water that the frog is in is just about to the boiling point.

Some might think that I'm promoting fear porn. Well, I"m not--I'd much rather be working on my garden, or going fishing or diving or hang gliding or doing things that retired people should be doing before they get too old to enjoy their sundown years. And yes, I do every one of those things--just not lately, because I don't want to venture too far from home base.

I won't be saying this any more. My duty has pretty well run its course. I started making the warnings or concerns as far back as late January, before the first tank crossed the border. In fact, I took it so seriously that I pulled my old teaching notes from well over 20 years ago and made them more modern for protection and preparation for the possible coming event. This took several days of intense study. I made a practice run to make sure that I didn't overlook anything, even if it was just for a weekend. So, yea, I'm taking this crap very seriously. If you haven't made any sort of plans, preparations, alternative plans if plan A doesn't work, I'm afraid that you're almost too late. You're either going to have to decide to bug out or bug in. Anyway you look at it, you're going to be on your own and for a long time.

If you've done nothing to make yourself ready, and suddenly that Emergency message goes over your cell phone--even if it still works--or hear that message on TV or the radio--if it's still working. If you've done nothing at all, when you see the flash, get down, put your head between your legs, cover your head and kiss your sweet ass good-bye. Because then--it's too late.

About Russia announcing that the goal is now Donbass. Have to see if it's not a maskirovka. You have to remember that before the invasion, there were comments that if Russia had entered with troops only in Donbass, the reaction of NATO and sanctions would have been much smaller. This maskirovka can have two purposes. For conventional warfare, taking time to re-equip troops and redeploy soldiers, news of Russian battalions being reassigned continues. Speaking that the objective is only Donbass, trying to somehow create a thought that the threat of taking other regions has passed, eventually relaxing the Ukrainian readiness for combat. There are Ukrainian troops who so far have not seen full combat in the war, at most they have dealt with air strikes and shooting down some Russian aircraft. Now the other possible and much worse objective is to seem to Ukraine and NATO that the worst is over, that Putin really accepted a minor victory and possible agreement will come soon and there will be a big unexpected attack with the use of chemical weapons or tactical weapons nuclear.

They say that what irritated Putin the most in this entire military operation is that NATO knew every step of the operation and passed it on to the Ukrainians. There was no surprise factor. That's why they say that several FSB members were arrested, in addition to wrong reports, NATO spying managed to know everything that was planned. The next steps of this operation must now be being decided by a very restricted group, Putin must not be trusting anyone else.

What most reinforces the impression of maskirovka is the last days. If you look at it, the most striking event of the last few days was the attack on Berdyansk. I figured there would be some Russian impact response, to overshadow the Ukrainian attack. Perhaps a Kinzhal hit something important Ukrainian. But nothing.

@Charley300 (character limit)

Your contributions and your thoughts clearly come from an earnest and heartfelt place, and no matter my own thoughts this fact transcends them.

Biden hasn't said NATO would get involved if Russia uses chemicals. He's been vague, just as the Western leadership at large has been. They speak of consequences without specifying, because they don't want the public to know what is planned but they also want to placate public panic.

NSA Jake Sullivan said, in #14, that "plans could evolve" depending on Russian actions. This is vague and deliberately so. Jake Sullivan, nor Joe Biden, want to roll the dice on the destruction of the world any more than we do.

Putin didn't say he would go nuclear if NATO gets involved in Ukraine. He laid out a scenario before the war in which Ukraine joins NATO and then attacks Crimea, leading to a WW3 scenario fraught with nuclear escalation probability. He then launched a war against Ukraine amidst a flurry of threats from him that stopped just short of official, offensive, overt nuclear brandishing, but nonetheless had their effect as if it had been. This is a game of poker. Everybody's cheating. Everybody wants to win. Nobody wants the destruction of the world, no matter what they say. The danger is in the tightrope walk, which is incredibly dangerous due to somebody slipping. On that I will agree with anyone who says the same. But it's not in the statements themselves, which are just reflective of that tightrope walk. Meticulous attempts at specific public perception management on both sides. And given that it's a tightrope walk, the exact, word for word content of what leaders are saying is crucial. Putin has not verbally threatened to initiate a nuclear war, no matter what impression he has deliberately constructed. And if he does, than he most likely doesn't mean it, and it's instead probably a reflection of 'madman theory' that goes all the way back to Nixon. If you can convince everyone you're insane, even as you're wielding the 'destroy the world' button, you can stop a full-scale counter-attack with a few choice words.

And if everything I'm saying here is false, and Putin really is mad by some dangerous sense of that term, or terminally ill and doesn't care as long as he goes out with a bang, then the US government, with an intelligence apparatus more expansive and capable than any in human history, will also know this, and will plan accordingly. Perhaps with risks of terminal mistake, but they will plan, to the best of their ability.

"and that's not the best comparison because at least some back door diplomacy was going on behind the scenes. I don't think there is any this time at all."

The public has no way of knowing this. The true story of reciprocating compromise over this very '62 crisis was not widely known for decades after it happened. Every single public statement from the US government as well as the Russian government is part of the ongoing efforts at public perception management. Those efforts' intersection with the truth is so loose it's often coincidental. If there are no diplomacy efforts right now, there will be when humans wearing highly decorated jackets face their own possible imminent demise, as well as those of their fellow humans which, contrary to the common notions, actually still matter to those who nonetheless have positions of authority. The very same people who are the 'watchers on the wall' through this entire conflict, because they know war, and know what it takes to stop it, on a level that would flatten politicians in fear. The last conversations before a nuclear war will be brass talking to brass.

I know you're not promoting fear p*rn. You're genuine. I am also. I want to do a thought experiment. If there is anyone here who, given my post volume, happened to give me a second thought, and in the process wondered with bitter dislike how I could leave this forum the moment the war started, as if unwilling to contribute once things get tough. If this roughly fits anyone, I can draw a line directly between my world and ours.

I've had a 'feeling in my stomach' ever since 2014's Ukraine crisis that the world was heading for another 'Cuban Missile Crisis' due to the unfolding drama of one unstable but still empire clamoring for eternal control over a changing world (the US, ln case I seem to be coy) and inevitably sliding away from its goal challenging a gallery of rogues looking for the successor spot with varying degrees of success but nonetheless collectively, eventually, succeeding in halting the US plans for control over the world. This is how world wars are made. This was inevitable. Nobody knew if it would be Ukraine or Taiwan or some third country. It was going to be somewhere. And it was going to be loud.

I have prepared as much as I possibly can. I hope and advocate for others to do the same. We are passengers of a grand gamble. It might go wrong. But it is just that, a gamble. Not intentional collective suicide.

I've had this feeling since 2014. I've gradually adjusted my life accordingly, while fighting against a previous lifetime of a world where 'the Cold War is over and nuclear war is a historical concept' leaked away like so many tears that never got to be because the room was taken up by others entirely personal. Since then I didn't know when the defining moment would be for whether the current world, intact, has a future. This is it. Because of this, I have left every non-essential thing. I've sought to heal every personal harm, within myself and between my personal relationships. I've planned like I never have for a future I didn't used to understand, but now do at the very moment it might not reach me. But maybe it will. And so I'm planning for it. The person within beyond all pretense. Mine and everyone I can actionabily love, in place of everyone else who deserves that level of care as much as myself and my own. We all have it.

The forum will look at my absence, if indeed it entered collective thought at all, however their personal journeys will result, but what I just explained is the actual truth of my life. I decided the moment this site hit defcon 3 that if I join in daily reports I won't be able to fulfill my personal obligations. Because almost everything is math if you look hard enough. (if you look even harder, it's heart)

Now the parallel.

The actual, real details of this crisis are what's real, just like the inner lives of everyone on this forum. No matter the outside perceptions. What talks are being had. What is actually at stake. What each side is planning. We don't know. Just like we do not know each others' personal lives and what we each have going on. In each case, we're not meant to. Because that's not how this works. And that's why it won't be surprising if this ends without anyone's worst fears coming to pass. Because there is more to the future than meets the eye. Don't take it from me. Take it from Neil Young. Or anyone else who has helped speak to the path our world has been on, who speaks to you.

If we play our cards right, we will either be faced with death or a struggle to survive after the unthinkable with clear minds and hearts about who we are and why we do what we do, or else we will see the eventual sign of hope that maybe life will go on as we know it; in which case we will be better equipped to do something with it than we ever have before.

You spoke before about how these are the times that try men's souls. It's true. Men being figurative. A function of historical convention. It tries women's souls exactly as much. It tries everyone's souls. Beyond description. People. Humans. Of every kind. Everyone's souls. Literal or figurative. However someone might read this message, and whoever you are. Times like this try the souls of every single one of us humans. And in times like this, we are all on the same side, whether we realize it or not. No matter how loudly our individual backgrounds insist otherwise.

I am doing everything I should do when our collective world is threatened, but I would not be surprised if we end up OK. Time will tell.

As I said before, I will not be far.

What about this? Will Russia allows that?

And what about Poland idea of the peace keeping force into Ukraine? I know that NATO has voted NO, but is the issue over, or is likely that Poland will do something, maybe with UK?
I don't think Putin accepts this, it is precisely the siege of civilians that increases his chance of taking the city without a fight.

It's probabily a maskirovka, as to say the "surprise" principle of the art of war. If Russia has an objective to reach, it doesn't say that to us. IMHO, Russian objective is all the Ukraine, maybe with the possibility to concede a little part in the west to Poland. Donbass itself is completely useless to Russia: Russia needs 2 things: a relevant buffer area (as to say, not Donbass) and to have as neighbour a not hostile country, (as to say, not even a reduced Zelensky's country).
