Current third wave reports from Iran remain conflicting.

Ynet says U.S. official told CNN the American military is not conducting strikes at this time, amid Iranian reports of explosions and air defense systems being activated.

Iranian outlet Entekhab separately reported Mehr saying explosions were heard in Konarak and Bandar Abbas, while IRIB later said no explosions had been reported in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, Sirik, or Jask.

At this time, these sources confirm only reported explosions/air defense activity, Iranian denials for some locations, and a U.S. denial of ongoing strikes.

⚠️Attribution to any other actor remains UNCONFIRMED.

Denial of Al Arabiya and Fox News Claims About Iran–U.S. Talks Next Week

Following reports by Al Arabiya and Fox News claiming that a new round of Iran–U.S. negotiations would be held next week, a Fars News reporter, citing an informed source close to the Iranian negotiating team, says these claims are not true.

The informed source told Fars that reports claiming preparations for negotiations had been finalized in Islamabad, as well as claims that technical talks would continue next week, are false and have no factual basis.

The source emphasized that any news regarding the course of negotiations—should there be any developments—will be announced only through the official channels of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and that claims published by certain foreign media outlets are not reliable.
