To prosecute the Iran war and any other potential engagements ,
Should the USA shift to a war manufactorin capacity as Russua has?

Vote and discuss your thoughts.

The USA is best served by doing almost nothing the same as Russia.

The American public would never stand for even a fractional shift without major warfare beginning. Thats major warfare as far as the USA is concerned not little piddling actions like Korea(which completely caught us of guard and was an emergency) Vietnam, the Gulf War. Only the Civil War, World War Two and the first few years of GWOT did and would the public allow it.

Right now we should be drafting men for two years peacetime service each so that we a recall pool available.

We should be reopening the F22 line using as many (mostly electronics) F35 parts as possible. F117’s need to be overhauled into high risk Drone operations (it also make China manufacture field and maintain an entirely different bandwidth to defend).
All others need increased production.

Build exactly ZERO new carriers. They are too much capital in one place. We should be building flat deck assault carriers (Harrier carriers are now lightning carriers or whatever they call it next week) by the scores. After that we need as many destroyers as it is possible for this country to produce for the next 10 to 20 years. These jack of all trades are priceless.

Finally the Submarines. Each one is like building an Apollo space capsule (command, module and lander not Saturn five). There really are not enough facilities and trained craftsman to build many more at a time atm. We should be building multiple loyal wingman for each ship enough so that they can lose both of theirs and return to base and there’s two more waiting every time. We should be building autonomous attack submarines to operate the literal regions and the near reaches to defend our shores. Due to the nature of the warfare that’s gonna require removing humans from the kill chain other than authorizing its individual missions. We really need to step up on this and figure it out fast. I wouldn’t try to think of them as robotic submarines without a kill chain and rather would think of them as torpedo range extenders that we authorize by launching.

But none of this is going to happen at least en mass. We are going to sit on our duffs watching reality TV worrying about Facebook likes and competing with family and friends in the Great Diabetes Marathon.

On weapons ,
The Iran weapons systems are hitting neighboring countries. If those countries are mad, lets dive into how Iran came to develope the systems striking them presently,
Who should they be friends with? Their wallet? Or?

Iran has gained technical knowledge and components for its drone and missile programs primarily through long-term, strategic partnerships with
Russia, China, and North Korea. While Iran has developed significant domestic production capabilities—investing heavily in indigenous programs—it still relies on these foreign partners for advanced components, materials, and specialized expertise.

Key Contributors to Iran’s Drone and Missile Programs:
  • North Korea: Played a crucial role in the early development of Iran's missile capabilities, providing foundational technology and missiles for the Shahab-1 program in the late 1980s.
  • China: A major supplier of materials, electronics, and dual-use technologies for Iran's missile and drone programs. Chinese firms have been linked to the supply of parts used in drone production and missile components. Historically, China helped with anti-ship missiles like the C-802 (model for Iran’s Nour) and provided M-7 short-range ballistic missiles.
  • Russia: Currently Iran's most significant military partner, supplying air defense systems, missile-related technologies, sensors, and aircraft. This partnership has become highly reciprocal, with Russia providing advanced technologies in exchange for Iranian drones.
  • Belarus: Linked to Iran's defense procurement networks, providing assistance with air defense systems.

Nothing akin to war production transition.
What is needed is launchers and missiles.
You can’t convert auto plants over to missile production.
Loans and finances to aerospace manufacturers ramped up.
