Well it’s been implied by Russia these are Ukrainians who carried out this attack in Russia. But I don’t think anything has been proven decisively yet. Last I heard Ukraine is denying that Ukraine had anything to do with it. That could certainly be a lie and that would be irrelevant. Ukraine is in the middle of an existential war with Russia, of course their going to lie if it serves their interest. I would expect that. Nations lie all the time when engaged in war.
Of course the people of Belgorod want to fight for their local area and homes.
In their own nation inside their national borders.
Just as Ukrainians are doing by resisting and fighting the 100000’s of Russias who were sent to their homes and communities.
And as always - so what if Ukraine launched a subversive attack into Russias boarder lands with Ukraine. That is what Russias little green men have been doing since 2014 in eastern Ukraine.
Russia can bluster all they want about their boarders not being safe from insurgency attacks. They have shown no respect for Ukraines boarders.
So the Russian civilians shouldn’t be surprised with the effects of the war spilling into their community.
