Recent Satellite Images have shown that of the Six Sites the North Korean Armed Forces appear to have been Fortifying in the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) since Early May, at least one Extends roughly 150ft over the Military Demarcation Line into South Korean Territory, with this likely to be the same Site where Warning Shots have been Fired by South Korean Forces at Groups of North Korean Soldiers.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed a new partnership that includes a vow of mutual aid if either country is attacked, during a Wednesday summit that came as both face escalating standoffs with the West.

The carefully staged public relations exercise was an opportunity to show their close working relationship and their ease in each other’s company as Putin made his first visit to Pyongyang in 24 years.

So could we see this again soon? :D

South Korea’s presidential office on Thursday condemned an agreement reached by Russia and North Korea that vowed mutual defense assistance in the event of war and said it will reconsider its policy of limiting its support to Ukraine to non-lethal supplies. The North’s official Korean Central News Agency said the deal requires both countries to use all available means to provide immediate military assistance in the event of war.

The office of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol issued a statement condemning the agreement, calling it a threat to the South’s security and a violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions, and warned that it would have negative consequences on Seoul’s relations with Moscow. The presidential official, who spoke on condition of anonymity during a background briefing, according to office rules, said Seoul in response will reconsider the issue of providing arms to Ukraine to help the country fight off Russia’s invasion.

President Vladimir Putin said that Russia might supply weapons to North Korea in what he suggested would be a mirror response to the Western arming of Ukraine.
Putin was speaking to reporters in Vietnam on Thursday, a day after visiting nuclear-armed North Korea and signing a mutual defence agreement with its leader, Kim Jong Un.

About 30 years late for that announcement, eh?

Presumably he means he could use Kim as NATO uses Zelenski, start a proxy war that would threaten the US presence in SK.
That’s not what he said, and there is not open fighting on the Korean Peninsula.
Unless of course he starts it.

If it is what he meant then we should start transferring nuclear weapons to ROK and Japan right now.

The incident took place as Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Pyongyang for the first time in 24 years and the two countries signed a mutual defence pact that has raised alarm in Seoul, Tokyo and Washington. South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Russian ambassador Georgy Zinoviev to lodge an official protest over the pact, which states that if either of the two is invaded or put in a state of war, the other side will provide military and other assistance “with all means” at its disposal and “without delay”.
Zinoviev said he told the SK ministry that threats and blackmail against Russia over its increasingly close ties to North Korea were unacceptable.
