ATESH has a mixed but generally respectable track record:
It has accurately reported some Russian troop movements and military activity that were later corroborated.
It has also made claims that have never been independently confirmed.
Because it is a partisan organization fighting Russia, it has an incentive to emphasize signs of Russian weakness.
For that reason, intelligence analysts typically treat its reports as potentially useful but requiring independent confirmation.

Which is my point, there is no independent confirmation. There may have been some small scale evacuation that’s being presented as full scale or it may be total bs, but there is zero verified evidence of the claim.

Correct, but if there is one thing I've learned over 7 decades is the old adage:
"Where there is smoke, there is fire"... to be true.
Make of it what one will, but there is smoke.

To be absolutely clear, don't think Russia is "quietly preparing to leave" Crimea. (At THIS time)
I think it is preparing for the possibility of a much more intense Ukrainian campaign against Crimea over the coming months while intending to hold it.
